Brassica BAC clones

A subset of 200,031 Brassica GSSs, originating from BAC ends of the Brassica rapa KBr libraries, were analysed as above. These BLAST mappings were then post-processed to identify coupled pairs of BAC ends giving hits to the Arabidopsis pseudochromosomes consistent with microsynteny over a 500 kb range. It was found that 11,709 (about 14%) of the BAC clones analysed fell into this class. The KBrH BAC clones themselves are available from JIC\'s GeTCID service http://jicgenomelab.co.uk/libraries.html.
